Rapid Installation of Aluminum Alloy Pipelines
Light weight, corrosion resistance and good thermal conductivity make aluminum alloy pipelines widely used in building water supply & drainage, refrigeration, air conditioning and industrial fluid transmission. Standardized procedures ensure efficient and high-quality installation.
1. Preparatory Work
- **Tools**: Pipe cutter, chamfering tool, crimping pliers, measuring tools, cleaning supplies and pipe fasteners.
- **Material Inspection**: Verify pipe and fitting specifications. Check surface integrity and intact sealing rings.
2. Measurement and Layout
Mark pipeline routes avoiding obstacles. Reserve expansion gaps due to thermal expansion and contraction. Arrange brackets at standard intervals for stable support.
3. Cutting and Preprocessing
Cut pipes vertically and deburr inner and outer edges. Wipe joint surfaces clean to remove oil and dust.
4. Press Fitting Connection
Fit sealing rings properly. Insert pipes fully into fittings and conduct crimping with matched molds. Check uniform crimp marks without cracks or distortion. Use tees and elbows for branching and turning.
5. Pipeline Fixation
Mount brackets with rubber cushions to prevent abrasion and electrochemical corrosion. Fasten pipes moderately and add hangers for overhead pipelines.
6. Pressure Test
Conduct pressure test at 1.5 times working pressure. Maintain pressure for 30 minutes. Reinstall fittings if leakage occurs until qualified.
7. Cleaning and Protection
Clean pipe surfaces. Apply anti-corrosion coating or thermal insulation for outdoor pipelines. Label medium type and flow direction clearly.
8. Acceptance and Filing
Inspect overall installation appearance and tightness. Record relevant parameters and archive documents.
