Quick installation of aluminum alloy pipelines requires sufficient preparation, precise measurement and processing, reasonable layout and fixation, as well as comprehensive inspection and testing. During the installation process, always prioritize safety to ensure accurate and error free operation at every step. By mastering the above steps and techniques, installation efficiency and quality can be effectively improved, ensuring the safety and reliability of aluminum alloy pipelines.

Before installation, ensure that the system has been depressurized to avoid danger caused by pressurized operations. When working in high-altitude or complex environments, wear protective gloves and goggles, and use scaffolding or lifting equipment to ensure safety. Gas and other hazardous medium pipelines must be strictly tested for airtightness according to specifications (such as maintaining pressure for 30 minutes with a pressure drop of ≤ 5%), and professional personnel must be commissioned to conduct acceptance.

How to choose the appropriate connection method for quickly installing aluminum alloy pipelines?

1、 Card sleeve connection

Principle: By squeezing the sleeve with a nut, the inner edge is embedded into the outer wall of the pipeline to form a seal.

Advantages: Easy installation, no need for welding or expansion, good sealing, and can be disassembled repeatedly.

Disadvantages: High precision is required for the outer diameter of the pipeline, and it may become loose under high pressure or vibration environments.

Applicable scenarios: Medium and low pressure systems (usually ≤ 30MPa), such as instrumentation pipelines and pneumatic systems, suitable for scenarios that require frequent disassembly and maintenance.

2、 Expansion type connection

Principle: Expand the pipe mouth into a trumpet shape and seal it tightly with nuts and sleeves.

Advantages: Simple structure, reliable sealing, and better anti vibration ability than sleeve type.

Disadvantages: The expansion process requires specialized tools and requires high operational skills, making it unsuitable for thick walled pipelines.

Applicable scenarios: Medium pressure systems (≤ 16MPa), commonly used in hydraulic systems and automotive brake pipelines, suitable for media with high cleanliness requirements (such as fuel and lubricating oil).

3、 Welding connection (argon arc welding/socket welding)

Principle: Long term connection is formed by melting the pipe and fitting interface at high temperature.

Advantages: High connection strength, better sealing, suitable for high pressure, high temperature or corrosive media.

Disadvantages: Welding requires specialized equipment and technology, cannot be disassembled, and may result in welding deformation or stress.

Applicable scenarios: High pressure systems (such as industrial pipelines, aerospace hydraulic pipelines), fixed installations that do not require disassembly. Attention should be paid to aluminum alloy welding, which is prone to oxidation and requires strict control of the process.

4、 Flange connection

Principle: Two flanges are fixed by bolts, and a sealing gasket is added in the middle to achieve connection.

Advantages: Strong connection, good sealing, easy disassembly and maintenance, suitable for large pipe diameters or complex pipeline layouts.

Disadvantages: Heavy weight, high cost, installation requires aligning bolt holes, and occupies a lot of space.

Applicable scenarios: High pressure, large-diameter pipelines (such as chemical pipelines and refrigeration systems), or scenarios that require frequent maintenance and significant pressure fluctuations.

5、 Push to connect

Principle: After the pipeline is inserted into the joint, the internal spring and sealing ring automatically lock and seal.

Advantages: Plug and play, fast installation speed, no need for tools, and quick disassembly.

Disadvantages: Low pressure bearing capacity (usually ≤ 10MPa), long-term use may cause loosening due to vibration, and the cost is relatively high.

Applicable scenarios: Low voltage rapid installation systems, such as pneumatic tools, automated production lines, laboratory equipment, suitable for temporary or quickly replaceable pipelines.

6、 Threaded connection (metal or plastic thread)

Principle: Connected by screwing the internal and external threads of the pipe fittings, supplemented with sealing tape or sealant.

Advantages: Compact structure, low cost, easy installation, suitable for small-diameter pipelines.

Disadvantages: Aluminum alloy threads are prone to slipping and have insufficient sealing under high pressure, which may lead to leakage due to thread wear.

Applicable scenarios: Temporary connections for low-pressure water/gas pipelines (such as bathroom and household pipelines) and non critical parts that require the use of high-quality thread glue.

Before installation, ensure that all materials and tools are fully prepared. The main materials include aluminum alloy pipes, joints, sealing rings, bolts, etc. Tools include cutting machines, wrenches, screwdrivers, measuring tools (such as tape measures, level gauges), etc. According to actual needs, draw detailed pipeline design drawings, clarify the direction, connection points, support points, etc. of the pipeline. Ensure the accuracy of the drawings and avoid deviations during installation.
